Your Five-Year-Old: An Overview
If your five-year-old hasn’t attended a VPK program yet, they’re welcome to join us at the Ministry Village Early Learning Center. Our experienced teachers, engaging classrooms, and well-rounded curriculum help children build confidence and develop the skills they need to succeed in kindergarten.
After completing VPK, we also offer quality summer care until the school year begins.
Five-Year-Old Curriculum
At Ministry Village Early Learning Center, we use *The Creative Curriculum®* because it’s research-based and aligns with Florida’s early childhood education standards. Our five-year-olds enjoy engaging, child-led activities that nurture their social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual growth.
We believe learning happens best when supported both at school and at home. Each week, your child’s classroom will post a personalized lesson plan tailored to their needs and development. Families also receive simple, fun activities to reinforce learning at home and stay connected to what their child is experiencing each day.
Your Five-Year-Old's Teachers
Our teachers at Ministry Village Early Learning Center are trained in early childhood education and create play-based, purposeful activities that support age-appropriate learning and independence. Through careful observation, they design both individual and group experiences that nurture each child’s growth and development.
