Our Curriculum
A Christ-Centered, Research-Based Approach to Early Learning
To provide the highest quality education for the children in our care, the Ministry Village Early Learning Center uses The Creative Curriculum®, a comprehensive, research-based program fully aligned with Florida’s Birth to Four Year Old Standards. We enhance this proven curriculum with Bible stories and daily devotionals, ensuring each child receives a strong, Christ-centered foundation.
The Creative Curriculum® is structured around five core areas of development: language, math, science, social-emotional, and physical growth. Each lesson begins with clear objectives in The Foundation and is supported by Daily Resources that guide both structured activities and child-led exploration.
Learning at this stage is hands-on and experience-driven. That’s why our classrooms feature play-based learning centers, allowing children to explore and act out lessons through interactive play. Each week, teachers post a developmentally appropriate lesson plan tailored to the interests, skills, and growth of the children in their care—creating a personalized, engaging learning journey for every child.
Beyond academics, our students also develop essential life skills. They learn to manage emotions, communicate effectively, strengthen their bodies, and engage with the world in confident, healthy ways.
Books play a central role in our curriculum. Reading is woven into daily routines and even transition times, serving as a foundation for deeper discussion, skill-building, and creativity.
The Creative Curriculum® also provides ongoing professional development for our teachers, equipping them to deliver exceptional instruction and helping them see the powerful impact they have on every child’s success.
At the Ministry Village Early Learning Center, we believe learning is a partnership—with God, with families, and with each child’s individual journey.
